What does your enrollment process look like?
First, you will reach out to us through either a phone call, General Interest Form at the bottom of this page, or an email. Our Director will then reach out to schedule a time to meet with your family and give you a tour of our facilities. You will then be sent an enrollment packet once both you and our school decide to move forward in the enrollment process! We want to make this decision as easy and exciting as possible for you and your family.
What is your educational philosophy and teaching approach?
At Castleview Christian Preschool, we believe in holistic approach to education, addressing the academic, spiritual, social, emotional needs of every child. This philosophy is based on Luke 5:52, which states, "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." Each day begins with either chapel or Bible class. Students participate in engaging and challenging lessons throughout the day. Each school day is filled with exciting, hands-on activities that develop a variety of skills important to childhood development.
What are the hours of your programs?
Our full-time K5 program runs from 9 AM to 3 PM. For our Part-time K4 program, hours are set from 9 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, afternoon education is offered as an optional add-on from 12 PM to 3 PM.
What does
the daily schedule look like?
Our full-time K5 program provides a comprehensive schedule that includes instruction and review in all academic subjects, a short afternoon rest time, as well as morning and afternoon recesses, snack times, and lunch.
Our Part-time K4 program provides two available options: the Monday/Wednesday/every other Friday track or the Tuesday/Thursday/every other Friday track. Afternoon education is offered as an optional add-on and includes music, art, & STEM instruction as well as afternoon rest time, snack time, and play.
What curriculum do you use?
At Castleview Christian Preschool, we use curriculum that has been proven to produce advanced students, particularly in the area of reading, which we believe is incredibly important at this young age. We use a phonics-based approach to teach children how to read, utilizing mainly A Beka Book curriculum. We also supplement with many unique and fun resources for our extracurricular afternoon classes!
What are your class sizes?
We are excited to offer small class sizes that will offer more individualized care for each student! Our K4 class sizes are typically capped at 12 students per class. Our K5 class is capped at 15 students per class.
Are lunches and snacks provided?
For your convenience, we ask that you send your child nut-free snacks and lunches, along with a labeled water bottle. This not only ensures a safe environment for all students but also simplifies lunchtime choices for your child. This helps us support a healthy and enjoyable school experience!
